Match Notes - (4/16/00):

Wow.. made it to the top much faster than we expected.. this was the title fight. We've been working on the setup for a while now. ITS had some internal issues that required a delay but after much anticipation we got to step into the ring. Special thanks to Elvis, Fate and Motivez for doing a great job on match setup. The ITS match server was selected for the match. We didn't put up much of fight for obvious reasons :).

Map 1 - Q2DM7: I have to say I thought that DM7 was a bad map for instagib.. still don't think it's a great map but there is definitely some interesting tactics that can be used. We've been forced to play this map a few times now and I'm actually starting to like it! We took our normal positions (Biggus ya fat #$@#).. and started off with a bang. We put some distance between us and ITC and never looked back. Great teamwork guys!

Map 2 - Carena: Now this is a killer FFA instagib match.. but how much team strategy can you have on a big open circle heh :). We started off the block quick and put up a 20 frag lead. For the next 7 minutes the 20 point spread did not change.. very tight map. Ominous put up some strong moves with that crazy hook. Vacious started out pretty normal and then with about 3 minutes to go in the map she just caught fire. Everyone played rock solid for a well rounded match.

Final Comments: This was the match we've been wanting for months now. ITS were perfect sportsman in what I think was one of the smoothest matches we've ever played. Hats off to ITS and good luck in the future.
