First Map - The Frag Pipe:
The first round started out fast and furious. LoGiC had a plan making
it clear early on they wanted the rocket room. Takedown sporting his shiny
new Cable connection would not yield the room easily. Control went back
and forth Takedown.. LoGiC.. Takedown.. well you get the idea. Riva meanwhile
bombed newly podded LoGiC with deadly accuracy. Danger with the hot Rail
nailed his opponents from miles away without them having ever seen him.
Elvis in just his second match appearance made his rounds railing and
blasting any one in his path. LoGiC put up a good fight but the group
effort from T2K was too much.
Second Map - The Edge: Again
it seems LoGiC was intent on control of areas traveling in packs creating
havoc for any lone T2K who crossed their path. Riva filling in for the
absent Rookie lead the T2K assault with an 80% efficiency rating. He scored
a map high 35 frags on a very low frag count map. This battle was more
an even map with either team really taking control of the map. DeadEye
in his second T2K match put in a strong performance along with SpaceWrangler
and the veteran Flagship. Assid of LoGiC fought tough posting strong numbers.
Third Map - The Frag Pipe:
Well I know that Takedown grabbed a bite to eat during the second map
and it must have helped out. After stuffing his face and a quick trip
to the can he was back with a vengeance. Takedown punished LoGiC in the
Rocket Room relentlessly. All T2K members seemed to play better this go
around averaging an efficiency rating of 65%.
Fourth Map - The Edge: During
the third map I about shit myself as I saw my DSL connection go green.
I strapped on the rocket launcher for my first match map in 7 weeks! I
took Rookies spot and headed in for the final showdown. After the first
three maps we really started to get a feel for LoGiC's tactics. SpaceWrangler
got off to a huge start taking control of the lower rocket area destroying
any LoGiC entering the scene. Like the borg they adapted and T2K heard
a cry from the dark. All available hands headed down to render assistance
to the now pummeled SpaceWrangler trying to hold of waves of LoGiC. Again
control of the lower rocket room was never fully established for either
team. Other parts for the map were held tight and overall domination of
the map was achieved as T2K came together for the final win.
The match was a real pleasure to
setup and play. We were finished with all 4 maps in a record 90 minutes
with not a whisper of complaint from either squad. Great battle guys.!
